M.C. Davidson, PhD, CFT – Towne Center Fitness & Health Club Manager

Fitness Trainer Certifications: Certified Fitness Trainer (ISSA)

MC is highly skilled at Personal Training, Boot Camp and Weight Lifting instruction as well as nutritional counseling. MC has been dedicated to her own personal fitness for 25 years and brings that knowledge and passion into training others. She is committed to giving each individual a personalized experience in a group setting. For those who want to focus on more individual goals she is available for one on one personal training, nutritional analysis and body composition profiling.

Alana Hughes – H2 Fitness Bootcamp Instructor

Certifications: American Sports & Fitness Association Group Fitness and Boot Camp Instructor, Childhood Obesity Specialist, W.I.T.S. Personal Trainer

Alana has always enjoyed sports and wellness but never thought she would make a career out of it. She knows the importance of exercise, because before she was instructing classes, she was a participant in Juvar’s fitness classes. “I can say that I know H2Fitness works, 45 pounds later, I feel better than I have in a long time.” She plans to continue her degree in Nutrition.

Aubrey Branagan-Rev

Aubrey Branagan – Bridal Boot Camp, HIIT Instructor

Certifications:  ISSA Certified Fitness Instructor

Aubrey is a certified fitness trainer, specializing in strength and interval training. Aubrey was a competitive gymnast for 15 years and a coach for many years afterwards. Her knowledge of fitness, body movement, and flexibility stems directly from personal experience as well as her personal training. Aubrey enjoys working with brides and runs a Bridal Boot Camp twice each week. This is in addition to her HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) class offered Monday through Friday.

Hannah Salomon – Cycle Instructor

Certifications: ACSM Certified Personal Trainer

Hannah has been a Cycle Instructor since 2010 and has taught Step, Strength, Bootcamp classes as well as worked with triathletes in an indoor tri-clinic setting. She has played a longstanding role in the fitness community and achieved her ASCM certification in 2013. Hannah developed Bike and Body Works to incorporate strength and power in a circuit training setting as a compliment to biking. She has years of experience working with TRX suspension training and has added TRX classes to her schedule.

Juvar Houston – H2 Fitness Bootcamp Instructor

Certifications: American Sports & Fitness Association Group Fitness and Boot Camp Instructor, Childhood Obesity Specialist

Juvar has always had an interest in sports, health and exercise. He began running track and playing basketball at a young age. He found that basketball was his passion and continued playing all through college becoming his team’s captain. He has trained many college players, many of whom have gone to play overseas, as well as professional athletes. Recently, he trained the players of the Boston Cannons, with the National Lacrosse League. He is planning to continue his degree in Exercise Science.

Karen Loeffler – Cycle, Strength-Conditioning, Pilates™ Instructor

Certifications: Fitness Instructor, AFAA Personal Trainer and Group Exercise, Pilates™ Mat, Power Pilates™, FITour

  Karen has been a Fitness Instructor for over 25 years. She is nationally certified and has extensive experience teaching many formats including Pilates™, Strength and Conditioning, Bootcamp and Cycle. In addition to her fitness background Karen coaches clients through a nutrition plan designed for life called Eat and Be Well.


  • Body Sculpt: $10 /session
  • Pilates: $50/8 weeks with special registration
  • Spin: $5/session



Julie Holder – Certified Yoga Instructor

Certifications: YogaFit® Levels 1,2,3 Seniors, Anatomy and Alignment Julie began practicing yoga 11 years ago. What started out as a hobby soon turned into a passion. A runner and triathlete, Julie’s practice focuses both on the whole body as well as those muscle groups that are heavily used in competitive sports.

Madge Flynn Brower, PhD – Road Ready Spinning Instructor

Certifications: Mad Dog Spinning Madge has been cycling outdoors for more years than she would prefer to reveal. She currently instructs our Road Ready Spinning Class where she aspires to share the AMAZING sport of cycling with everyone.

Roberto Perez – Cardio Salsa Instructor

Roberto is the Executive Director, Co-founder, Performer, Instructor, Choreographer, and DJ of Havana Nights Latin Dance. During the mid-nineties, while living in South America, he stared dancing in shows and cabarets, including one of the most famous Salsa festivals in the world, “Festival de Cali”, Colombia. Upon his arrival to Syracuse, he immediately started spreading his love for Salsa, and other Latin American dances and music, throughout Central New York as a member of the Latin Club at Syracuse University and as host of the Latino radio show “Nosotros”.

Shannon L. Fey – Yoga Instructor

Certifications: AFAA Group Exercise Instructor, Baptiste Art of Assisting, CPR/AED, PiYo® LIVE Instructor, RYT-200 (200 Hour Registered Yoga Teacher) with Yoga Alliance, YogaFit®

Shannon’s philosophy is to create not only a class, but an experience that is positive, holistic and reaches each student on a personal level so that they may embark on a journey of personal transformation, healing and growth both on and off the mat. Shannon began teaching group exercise and yoga classes in 2003, and has facilitated a variety of related classes and workshops, including Yoga, Pilates, Core Training, Step Aerobics, Cycling, Strength, as well as Exercise Science and Physiology. As a Special Education Teacher, she has blended her experiences and unique understanding of the life sciences with ancient yogic theology and vinyasa flow (linking breath, placement and movement) to create dynamic, invigorating yoga classes. Her classes integrate pranayama (breath awareness) for foundation, layered with asana (postures), proper alignment, progressions, meditation, and yogic wisdom.  Shannon also has recently updated her certification with Beachbody’s PiYo. She is excited to bring the worlds of Yoga, Pilates and traditional group fitness together with PiYo® LIVE. Within each class format, Shannon’s brings a high level of professionalism, as well as humor and safe, knowledgeable instruction to meet each student’s needs and learning styles.

Monika McKee-Spin, TRX, Strength and Conditioning Instructor

Certifications: Madd Dog and Reebok Spinning, TRX, Strength & Conditioning, Les Mills GRIT, FIT

Monika has taught fitness and personal trained for over 15 years.  She has extensive experience in group training such as, outdoor/indoor bootcamps, Biggest Loser bootcamps, HIIT Training, TRX Suspension training, Strength & Conditioning, cycle and Livestrong Cancer trainer.

 Monika also has experience and knowledge in training young athletes in sports specific strength & conditioning.  Focusing on injury prevention, strength and explosiveness.    Groups include a high school crew team, lacrosse and hockey teams. 



 Laura Lacombe-rev

Laura Lacombe – Boot Camp Instructor

Laura has been a lifelong athlete, participating in marathons, triathlons and countless fitness classes. She is a recent transplant from the Chicago suburbs and has spent the past two years settling her husband Mike and two boys Matt (10) and George (8), into their home and lives. Along the way she decided that fitness was not only going to be her hobby but her profession. Learning to be a fitness professional helped her achieve her own fitness goals. She is excited to share her knowledge and experience with you to help you become the most fit version of yourself! Courtney Wagner – Cize Live and Turbo Kick Instructor

Certifications: Cize Live and Turbo Kick

Courtney is a Certified Cize Live and Turbo Kick Instructor and has been since August 2015 and September 2015, respectively. Courtney began a renewed commitment to a fit and healthy lifestyle in late January of 2015 and blew many of her goals out of the water thanks to the support of other coaches and trainers. In turn, she decided she wanted to pay it forward and help others to achieve their goals for a healthy and fit lifestyle. She instructs fitness classes and coaches clients who are on a fit and healthy lifestyle journey. Courtney received a BS in Biology from St. John’s University in 2007. She is currently working on a Master’s Degree in Microbiology as well as enrolled in classes to attain a Personal Trainer Certification. In her free time she loves to read, run 5/10ks and spend time with her boyfriend and their two rescue dogs Jack & Colby.



Chelsea McAllister- Instanity Instructor

Certifications:  Insanity Live  and P90X Live

Chelsea is a certified Insanity Live (April 2014) and P90X Live (June 2015) Instructor. Becoming a group fitness instructor was never on the roadmap for Chelsea until she started doing the home version of these programs—she loved it, knew others would love it, and just wanted to share that passion for a good workout with others. Whenever someone asks, why group fitness?  Chelsea responds with, if I have a hobby that will keep me fit and healthy, why not share it with others? Chelsea is also a recent newlywed (May 2016) and her husband is a frequent class attendee—they also have two dogs at home that surely keep them busy!During the day, Chelsea holds an Information Technology position working data quality projects, application testing and other tasks related to IT project management.  Chelsea received her BS in Marketing and Information Studies from Le Moyne College in 2012 and her MS in Information Management from Syracuse University in 2013.
